Quite strangely, Lucifer seems to like the Doctor. Enough, at least, not to smash his brain to bits with Sherlock’s skull as he likes to do with John in the daylight hallucinations Sam keeps not mentionning to Dean.
Sometimes, when Lucifer hides Sam’s electric razor in the morning, or when it’s Dean’s head who appears in the fridge of 221B instead of some random dead guy’s one, Sam wonders if the apparent affection the angel hold the Doctor in come from the fact that the Time Lord’s not really human, not at all. Or perhaps it’s because he’s the last one of his kind, the one who killed all of his brethren to save what he thought was worth. And Lucifer, of course, would want Sam to take inspiration of this. He prefers not to know- not to think about it.
Sam is sure of one thing though : this evening, what he will eat will be cake.
