Guess what peeps? I’M TAGGING HATE!
Well not so much hate per se, more as a severe, I-will-only-like-this-if-I-see-a-billion-gifs-on-tumblr. Plus I have a rule, don’t get involved with a show unless it’s a season through, so I don’t get too invested in it…well except for Bob’s Burgers.
Yes, Elementary is going to be blowing up tumblr in a billion ways, but please don’t say, “Don’t tag your hate.” BLAH BLAH BLAH I SAY! Who the eff cares about tagging hate, it’s ridiculous, it’s like sticking your head in the sand, if a majority of tumblr feels that way, guess what? That’s the whole point of tagging.
Now on to my feelings on Elementary have definitely been said before on tumblr
- The whole modern-take is ridiculous because WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE CENTERED ON AMERICA? I know, I know, but it just pisses me off. WHY CAN’T AMERICANS GET TELEVISION FROM EVERYWHERE? WOULDN’T THAT GET RID OF ETHNOCENTRISM AND XENOPHOBIA?
- Watson is a girl…I don’t have a problem with that, because hello? Lucy Liu, but still, if they make it into a romantic thing, I’mma puke, but if they go buddy-buddy cop show? That’ll be okay, but still, I’m going to wait till tumblr shows me the way!
- Sherlock’s Coat and Scarf? Well I hate to tell you, but BBC doesn’t own coats and scarves as trademarks. But yeah, CBS, you really need to stop poaching shows from across the Atlantic, *cough* Big Brother *cough*
- What is interesting about Elementary is Watson hired by Sherlock’s father? It’ll be interesting what they come up with.
